2011 will be my first year of budding work as a PureArtist, Educator for Pureology luxury haircare!
This is a huge opportunity for me to surround myself with other salon professionals eager to grow and share their art. I believe in what this brand represents: Healthy, Conscious, Luxury. I’m also looking forward to contibuting to the continued partnership Pureology sustains with Global Green.

Not a thing. My schedule will remain the same. I will continue to style at Byu-ti Hair Therapy in Santa Monica, afternoons and evenings Tuesday through Thursday and all day on Fridays.

As September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, it’s the ideal time to help raise awareness and help break the silence on ovarian cancer. Byu-ti Salon, Pureology’s west coast flagship salon, held a fundraising event on Sunday, September 20 to benefit the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC).
Guests made a $25 donation and received a haircut followed by an open bar reception party with drinks from Zen Green Tea Liqueur and dessert provided by Vanilla Bake Shop. The event was a huge success! Byu-to Salon had consumers lining up out the door to wait their turn, and the salon raised $1,250 for the NOCC. Additionally each guest left with a complimentary NOCC/Pureology travel pack including a 2oz. bottle of EssentialRepair Shampoo, EssentialRepair HairCondition and a teal bandana.
